Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use ShotRoom: account data (including your email address, business name, and phone number provided at registration), uploaded garment images that you submit for AI processing, usage data such as page views and feature interactions to improve the service, and payment data. Credit card and payment details are processed directly by Razorpay — we never store your card information on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and operate the ShotRoom photography service, to improve our AI models using anonymized and non-identifiable data only, to send transactional service notifications (such as generation completion alerts and credit balance updates), and to process credit purchases and manage billing. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

ShotRoom relies on the following third-party services to operate. Each acts as a data processor under our service agreement:

  • Supabase — Provides authentication, database storage, and real-time updates. Stores account data, session state, and job history.
  • Cloudflare R2— Object storage and global CDN. Stores uploaded garment images and AI-generated photographs. Images are served via Cloudflare's content delivery network.
  • Google Gemini— AI image analysis and generation. Processes garment images for diagnostic analysis and generates prompt specifications. Images are transmitted to Google's API for processing.
  • Razorpay — Payment processing. Handles all credit pack purchases and billing. Razorpay collects and processes your payment information under their own privacy policy.
  • Sentry — Error monitoring and debugging. Captures anonymized error reports and performance data to help us identify and fix application issues. No personal data is included in error reports.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers in India and via globally distributed CDN infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS (HTTPS) and encrypted at rest. Our database enforces row-level security policies ensuring each user can only access their own data. We conduct regular security reviews and follow industry best practices to protect your information.

5. Cookies and Tracking

ShotRoom uses essential cookies required for authentication and session management. Optional analytics cookies are only placed with your explicit consent. We use localStorage to store UI preferences (such as sidebar state and theme settings) locally in your browser. These local preferences are never transmitted to our servers.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may request an export of your data or withdraw your consent for optional analytics tracking. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@shotroom.in. We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account remains active. AI-generated images are retained for 90 days after generation, after which they are automatically deleted from our storage. When you delete your account, all associated personal data, uploaded garments, and generated images are permanently removed within 30 days of the deletion request.

8. Children's Privacy

ShotRoom is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete that information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice via email for any material changes. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of ShotRoom after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
